the resort was clean and well kept. the food quality was acceptable (especially at the restaurants).
The beach was a letdown. Seaweed covered the shoreline, and the smell was quite strong. i also noticed a lack of shaded seating around the main pool, leading to a towel game early in the morning. getting a spot was frustrating, and it affected my overall enjoyment of the pool area (i wanted to relax more!).

I thought the food was surprisingly good. There was a good variety in the restaurants. I tried the El Patio, a location is at the back of the buffet. The AC worked great in our room. This helped a lot.
I saw the hotel entrance needs updating. Building work occurred and perhaps this will be covered. This gives a slightly disappointing first impression.

The staff was nice and atentive. The food was good at the restaurants. There were many activities for any age. The room was cleaned thoroughly everyday, thats something I care about.
The smell of seaweed was unpleasant when I got there. I had to keep my nose covered or use perfume before leaving the room. The seaweed on the beach needed cleaned to minimize the bad smell because it was very strong when the sun hit it. I expected better air conditioned.
